Bluesky scheduler

Bluesky Scheduling Tool for Consistent Posting

Bluesky is still a rare feature in scheduling tools, and even the couple that support it treat it as a checkbox, not a dedicated workflow. DM IQ schedules to Bluesky's AT Protocol network directly.

How it works

Three steps to a live post.

Connect with your Bluesky handle and an app password generated in Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords — never your main account password. Self-hosted PDS instances are supported by entering a custom service host.

01

Generate an app password

In Bluesky, go to Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and create one for DM IQ. Your account password is never shared.

02

Connect your handle

Enter your full Bluesky handle and the app password in DM IQ. If you self-host your PDS, add your custom service host too.

03

Schedule and auto-post

Write your post in DM IQ's composer and set the publish time — DM IQ posts to the AT Protocol network automatically, in the same calendar as your other channels.

Why it's different

Built for Bluesky, not bolted on.

A dedicated Bluesky workflow, not an afterthought

Of the major schedulers, only a couple support Bluesky at all, and none have built a page or workflow specifically around it. DM IQ treats Bluesky as a first-class channel with its own connection flow.

Secure by design

App-password authentication means DM IQ never sees or stores your actual Bluesky password — you can revoke access from Bluesky's settings at any time.

Bluesky next to your other 18 channels

Plan Bluesky posts in the same calendar as Instagram, Mastodon, and Tumblr, so your cross-platform posting stays consistent without app-switching.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How does DM IQ connect to Bluesky?+

With your Bluesky handle and an app password you generate in Bluesky's own settings (Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords). This is safer than sharing your main password and can be revoked anytime from your Bluesky account.

Can I schedule posts to a self-hosted Bluesky PDS?+

Yes. DM IQ lets you specify a custom PDS host if you self-host your Bluesky data, instead of assuming the default bsky.social service.

Which other schedulers support Bluesky?+

Bluesky support is still uncommon among social schedulers, and the tools that do support it list it as a feature rather than building a dedicated scheduling workflow around it the way DM IQ has.
