Content calendar

One content calendar for TikTok and 18 more channels.

Most content calendar software plans your posts and then hands them back to you to publish. DM IQ puts every post, article, video, and newsletter issue on one grid, up to two years out, and ships them on schedule.

What you get

Built for planning, not just publishing.

One view, every channel

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Ghost, Shopify Blog, beehiiv, and 12 more channels appear on the same calendar — no switching tabs to see what's going out where.

Plan up to two years ahead

Map seasonal campaigns, launches, and evergreen content in one sitting instead of scheduling week by week.

Drag, drop, reschedule

Move a post to a different day or channel without rebuilding it — the content stays intact, only the timing changes.

Spot gaps and clusters at a glance

See at a glance which weeks are packed and which channels have gone quiet, so your posting cadence stays consistent across all of them.

See the full channel list on the 19-platform scheduler page, or the core scheduler overview for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Choosing a tool

What to look for in content calendar software.

Almost every tool in this category will show you a month grid. The differences that matter show up in week three, once the plan meets a real posting schedule. Five questions worth asking before you commit to one:

Does it publish, or only remind you?

A calendar built in Sheets, Notion, or Airtable holds the plan but cannot push the post. If the tool does not connect to the channel itself, someone still has to be awake at 7pm to hit publish.

Does it cover the channels you actually use?

Most calendar tools stop at the big social networks. If your week includes a Ghost article, a beehiiv issue, and a TikTok, a social-only calendar shows you a third of your content operation.

Can you move a post without rebuilding it?

Rescheduling is the thing you do most. Dragging a scheduled post to a new day or duplicating it to another channel should carry the caption, media, and settings with it.

How far ahead does it let you plan?

Week-by-week queues are fine for reactive posting and useless for a launch or a seasonal campaign. DM IQ's calendar takes scheduled content up to two years out.

Does one view answer 'what is going out this week'?

The point of a calendar is the glance. If you have to open four tabs to reconstruct the week, the calendar is decoration.

The grid

All 19 channels, one calendar.

A social-only calendar hides the half of your content operation that takes the longest to make. These all sit on the same grid, colour-coded by channel:

Social

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr

Blog & CMS

Ghost, Shopify Blog, Webflow CMS, WordPress.com, Blogger, Dev.to, Hashnode

Video

Vimeo, Dailymotion

Newsletter

beehiiv, Kit

Planning the TikTok side specifically — posting cadence, content pillars, and a weekly template to fill in — is covered on the TikTok content calendar page. Come back here when you want that plan running next to everything else you publish.

FAQ

Content calendar, answered.

How many platforms show up on one calendar in DM IQ?+

All 19 supported channels — social, blog/CMS, video, and newsletter — appear in the same calendar view, so you can see everything scheduled across your whole content operation at once.

How far ahead can I plan on the content calendar?+

Up to two years. That's enough runway to plan an entire year's seasonal campaigns, product launches, or editorial calendar in one sitting.

Can I reschedule content without rebuilding it?+

Yes. Drag a scheduled post to a new date or duplicate it to another channel — the caption, media, and settings carry over, so rescheduling doesn't mean starting from scratch.

Does the calendar include blog posts and newsletters, or just social?+

All of it. Ghost, Shopify Blog, Webflow CMS, beehiiv, and Kit sit on the same calendar as Instagram, TikTok, and the rest — it's one content calendar, not a social-only one with everything else bolted on separately.

Is there a content calendar tool that covers TikTok and blog posts together?+

That is what this calendar is for. TikTok sits on the same grid as Ghost, Shopify Blog, Webflow CMS, beehiiv, and Kit, so a launch week reads as one row of work instead of four disconnected tools. Most calendar tools are social-only and leave the blog and newsletter side in a separate spreadsheet.

Do I need a separate TikTok content calendar and Instagram content calendar?+

No, and keeping them separate is what causes the gaps. One calendar across all 19 channels is what makes it obvious that TikTok has three posts this week and LinkedIn has none. If you want the TikTok planning structure itself — cadence, content pillars, a weekly template — that lives on the TikTok content calendar page.

Is a spreadsheet good enough as a content calendar?+

For planning, often yes — a spreadsheet is free and infinitely flexible. It breaks on two things: it cannot publish, so every scheduled slot still needs a human at the right minute, and it does not know what you already scheduled, so it drifts out of sync with reality within a couple of weeks.
